Universal expansion joint
Universal expansion joint is just like two hinged joint .this joint is in role of absorbing the horizontal movement from building expansion cornner, when installing,it must be at the fully extended length and at 90 to the line of movement . the tie rods cannot be adjusted or removed to ensure the proper function of the unit.
Function and using:
1．It can be instead of two hinged joint to absorb the universal movement .
2．It can be instead of two gimbal joint ,maybe used in the offset pipe as shown.
3．Used in building expansion corner to absorb subsidence because of uneven settlement,in order to protect the pipeline security .
4．When natural disasters ,such as earthquakes and other bad climate, happened ,it can protect pipeline safety
